Web of Addictions
Welcome to the Web of Addictions.
The Web of Addictions is dedicated to providing accurate information about alcohol and other drug addictions. We developed the Web of Addictions for several reasons. We are concerned about the pro drug use messages in some Web sites and in some use groups. We are concerned about the appalling extent of misinformation about abused drugs on the internet, particularly on some usenet news groups. Finally, we wanted to provide a resource for teachers, students and others who needed factual information about abused drugs.

National Association for Christian Recovery
For many of us, finding a support group has been the single most important step we have taken in our recovery.
Isolation is one of the most powerful and damaging effects of addiction and abuse. Participating in a support group can begin to reduce that isolation. It doesn't happen all at once - most of us have learned how to stay isolated even when we are in groups! But it can happen. And it can be a powerful way to experience God's love and attentiveness to us.
The National Association for Christian Recovery is a network of individuals - not a network of support groups. There are no "NACR Groups". We do, however, want to assist you in finding a support group that will help you in your recovery and we hope that the material provided here will give you a good start.

BoBo Bill the TazMan's website!!
Hi! My name's Bill. I'm an alcoholic. On 08 March 2000 I will have 16 years of sobriety. I ride motorcycles and have since 1953; except for a few years during my worst addiction and after an accident a few years ago. I live in a small town in northern Georgia called Blue Ridge. I have travelled over a lot of the world but never had an address outside the city of Blue Ridge. I'm a real redneck homeboy. Eight years ago I started the North Georgia SobrietyRun for all bikers in Recovery.

Changing Rolls
Alcohol has drained more blood, Hung more crepe, Sold more houses, Plunged more people into bankruptcy, Armed more villains, Slain more children, Snapped more wedding rings. Defiled more innocence, Blinded more eyes, Twisted more limbs, Dethroned more reason, Wrecked more manhood, Dishonored more womanhood, Broken more hearts, Blasted more lives, Driven more to suicide, and Dug more graves than any other poisoned scourge that ever swept its death-dealing waves across the world.
